The Emotion Code Chart lists 60 different emotional responses our subconscious minds experience during stress, trauma and everyday life.

During an Emotion Code Session, the client’s subconscious will lead the practitioner to the closest term on the Emotion Code Chart which describes the Trapped Emotion which is holding them back.

Top 10 Most Common Trapped Emotions

The below 10 emotions are the most common Trapped Emotions which have been released from Passion/Gratitude clients, as at 1 November 2022:

 

Overwhelm

 
 

Frequency: 4.48% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Overwhelm’. 

Definition: To be overpowered in mind or emotion; extreme stress; feeling overpowered with superior force; feeling excessively burdened.

Example: “He felt overwhelmed by the pressure to perform well in class and on the football field.”


Unsupported

 
 

Frequency: 4.27% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Unsupported’.

Definition: A lack of support, help or encouragement; not provided for by another; not defended when help is needed; feeling the burden is too heavy to bear alone, etc.  One can also feel unsupported by their own body in cases of illness, weakness or lack of emotional or mental strength.

Example: “Her ignored requests for help with the housework left her feeling unsupported in the marriage.”

“The toddler could not yet stand unsupported.”


Conflict

 
 

Frequency: 4.06% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Conflict’.

Definition: Internal conflict is a mental and emotional struggle within the self, arising from opposing demands or impulses.   External conflict is to fight, to disagree or be disagreeable, to struggle or battle against or to antagonize.

Example: “He felt conflicted about whether or not to take the new job.”

“She and her ex-husband experience continual conflict over the custody of their children.”


Terror

 
 

Frequency: 3.13% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Terror’.

Definition: Intense, sharp, overwhelming fear; extreme fright; alarm.

Example: “Her body tensed with terror when she realized she was about to crash the car.”


Anxiety

 
 

Frequency: 2.81% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Anxiety’.

Definition: Feeling that something is wrong but not knowing what it is. A generalized uneasiness or foreboding; a fear of the unknown; fear without a subject.

Example: “She feels anxious and fearful all the time for no apparent reason.”


Worthless

 
 

Frequency: 2.60% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Worthless’.

Definition: Of no importance or value; without goodness of character, quality or esteem; serving no purpose.

Example: “The constant criticism of his work made him feel worthless..”


Vulnerability

 
 

Frequency: 2.60% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Vulnerability’.

Definition: Feeling susceptible to harm, either emotional or physical; unsafe; unstable.

Example: “He showed great vulnerability by sharing his secrets.”


Hatred

 
 

Frequency: 2.50% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Hatred’.

Definition: To loathe or despise. Great dislike or aversion. Often comes as a result of “hurt love”. Often hatred is of a situation rather than a person (e.g. hatred of another’s behavior, unjust circumstances, etc.)   Self-hatred often creates depression, destructive behaviors, addictions and illnesses.

Example: “His wife's hatred of washing dishes made the decision to buy a dishwasher an easy one.”


Fear

 
 

Frequency: 2.50% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Fear’.

Definition: A strongly distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil or pain; the threat may be real or imagined.

Example: “The thought of moving to another country filled her with fear.”


Love Unreceived

 
 

Frequency: 2.50% of all Trapped Emotions released from Passion/Gratitude clients have been instances of feeling ‘Love Unreceived’.

Definition: A feeling that one’s love has been rejected. Feeling unwanted, not cared for; not accepted; a lack of love where it is desired.

Example: “She had a crush on him but he didn’t know she was alive, so her love went unreceived.”

“He tried to love his mother, but she was emotionally unavailable so his love was unreceived by her.”
